流光渺渺 ｜ As Time Goes By
香港中文大學藝術碩士畢業展 - 卓家慧個展 CUHK Master of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition - Solo Exhibition of Cherie Cheuk Ka-Wai
時光如渺渺流水，人存在其中，如浮萍隨水漂流。流過山澗、小溪、河川。或經過壯麗景致，或偶爾碰過游魚，依然在時間長河中得得失失，從不停歇。在川流不息之間，能凝住時間、留著情感的，是創作工筆畫的過程。藉著李白、辛波絲卡、徐志摩、與路易斯・卡羅等文豪給予的靈光，我在流光之中打撈吉光片羽，以筆尖與工筆畫的敍事語言，述說在白駒過隙間對於時間、存在、人的相遇等等的片刻感受。
Time is like a river and we drift along in the currents like weed. We float past the springs on the hills, surging streams and winding rivers. Along the river of time there are magnificent landscapes, fishes and others that we might meet and miss, but we never stop at anything. However, one way that can freeze time and capture the emotions along the course of the river is through gongbi painting. Inspired by the writings of great writers like Li Bai, Wislawa Szymborska, Xu Zhimo and Lewis Carroll, I try to encapsulate what remains in the fast flow of time with my brush and the narrative of the meticulous painting, expressing my feelings of the moment about time, existence and encounters of people.
