作品以墨色的堆疊、筆觸的皴擦與線條的律動呈現年輪。年輪，是樹木的記憶，是大自然經年累月的印記。在小小的驅殼裡裝載着時光的碎屑和宇宙的變幻，彷彿生命的堅忍和壯麗都化成一圈圈的漣漪，生生不息。也以工筆描繪跳躍之蛙，象徵萬物之靈，遊走、探索於時空與天地之間。藉着抽象與具象的結合，拼擦出水墨藝術的另一觀賞角度；也藉作品訴說對宇宙與生命的感悟──我們都在世上遊歷、浮沉，以尋找一個屬於自己的位置和價值 。

The work is composed of layers of ink, rubbing of dry brushes and rhythm of lines that expresses growth rings. In fact, these growth rings are the memories of trees, and are nature’s yearly imprints. Within the small body of a wood, are stowed away time fragments and the universe’s metamorphosis, as if expressing life’s perseverance and magnificence, becoming ripples in circles. Also I have utilized meticulous painting (gongbi) to depict the jumping frog. Like the life of everything in the world, between wandering and searching in time and space, on earth and in the sky. By combining abstract and figurative painting, I search for a new perspective in ink painting, and simultaneously to express my understanding and feelings towards the universe and life──that every one of us is always searching for our own position and value in the flow of life.
